Barcelona are Spain's in-form team as they prepare for Thursday's Copa del rey second leg against Celta de Vigo, which they will host at Camp Nou.

Coutinho, dressed in a black shirt dotted with white stars, was in the stands at the Camp Nou for the first time since his 160 million-euro ( 192 million) move from Liverpool.

Barca coach Ernesto Valverde chose to rest Gerard Pique at halftime and took Leo Messi off just before the hour mark to give Ousmane Dembele further gametime following his injury. It wasn't until the last minute that Ivan Rakitic netted the fifth from a corner taken by Dembele.

It was a vintage Messi display, too, and despite netting a couple of goals early on, the finest moment of the first half was his involvement in the third.

They played very very well in their 1-1 in the first leg against Barcelona a week ago, and played just as well in a 2-2 draw against Real Madrid at the weekend.

The first came in the 13th minute when Messi turned in Jordi Alba's cross into the centre with a shot off the fingertips of the keeper.

Ernesto Valverde opted for a change on the hour mark as Messi way for Ousmane Dembele, while Celta introduced Brais Mendez for Pione Sisto a minute later.

"We always look for each other to score goals and today we have done it twice".

Sevilla also qualified for the quarterfinals with a 4-1 aggregate win after beating Cadiz 2-1 thanks to goals from Wissam Ben Yedder and Joaquin Correa.

On Wednesday, Real Madrid laboured to a 2-2 draw with Numancia to progress to the quarter-finals 5-2 on aggregate.

Wissam Ben Yedder, after 31 minutes, and Joaquin Correa in the 54th minute, were on target for Vincenzo Montella's team.

The Catalans are the favourites to go through the quarter finals after scoring an away goal in Balaidos but Valverde has refused to accept that tag.
