Twitter has now issued a statement on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, crowning "Black Panther" the most-tweeted movie of all time. The two most recent record-holders were 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens and last year's Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

"Black Panther" just keeps on ruling.

Director Ryan Coogler's film, which passed the $600 million milestone in domestic earnings this weekend, has generated more than 35 million tweets according to Entertainment Weekly.

The news came after the movie topped the box office for a fifth-straight week.

The MGM-Warner Bros. reboot "Tomb Raider" couldn't dethrone "Black Panther" at the weekend box office in US and Canada theaters, as Ryan Coogler's superhero sensation stayed No. 1 for the fifth straight weekend. And, yeah, you can definitely give Black Panther some credit for Avengers taking the number three spot, as well. So far, the film has brought in an opening of $361 million around the world.

In addition to blowing away audiences around the world and logging broken record after broken record at the box office, Black Panther is also a pretty big deal on social media.
