Crufts: Someone Invaded The Stage As Tease The Whippet Was Crowned Winner

There were 9,000 people crammed into the NEC Arena in Birmingham to watch the victor be chosen.

Who were the PETA protesters?

A Crufts spokesman said: "It appears that protesters from Peta gained unauthorised access to the ring in the main arena at Crufts, and in doing so scared the dogs and put the safety of both dogs and people at risk in a hugely irresponsible way".

It marked an even more successful year for the pair, who triumphed in the Best of Breed category in 2017 and was reserve best in group for the Hound dogs.

Crufts and the NEC said security would be reviewed as "a matter of urgency".

According to reports, the activists were from Vegan Strike Group - which campaigns against animal abuse - working with animal rights charity PETA.

Host Clare Balding told her: "Well done you for reacting so quickly, your instinct was to protect Tease".

He also continued his attacks against the news media, which appeared popular with the crowd, and lambasted Democrats such as Rep. He blasts the new Republican tax law as a gift to the wealthy and a threat to Social Security and Medicare.
