It's a Bird…It's a Plane…It's Officially Nicolas Cage As Superman

Nicolas Cage will finally have a chance to play the Man of Steel.

Threading the needle of total silliness with the right amount of fun isn't easy, but with Cage leading a group of Justice Leaguers including a Wonder Woman voiced by singer Halsey and a Green Lantern voiced by rapper Lil Yachty, there's no way to avoid either silliness or fun.

The film belongs to the continuity of Teen Titans GO!, a frantic, animated reimagining of Cartoon Network's Teen Titans, the popular superhero TV series that aired from 2003 to 2006. Existing in the same continuity as their insane yet still active show on Cartoon Network, the Teen Titans find out that other DC superheroes seem to have films produced, so they seek out the ideal director for their debut on the big screen, but an old enemy has other ideas planned for them.

West Indies to play T20 series in Pakistan
The PCB had been trying to convince foreign teams to restart worldwide cricket back in Pakistan. This is part of our agreement with the West Indies board.

Animation/DC Entertainment's hit comedy cartoon Teen Titans GO! follows Robin (Scott Menville), Starfire (Hynden Walch), Raven (Tara Strong), Cyborg (Khary Payton) and Beast Boy (Greg Cipes) as they set out to make sure they are not left out of the big superhero blockbuster movie craze! Given the nature of the source material, Cage's Superman won't be the hero as he appears in DC's comic book universe. Cage and two others have joined the Teen Titans movie cast. And after seeing some pre-production images of Cage in the suit, most fans are glad Burton's vision got torpedoed.

And then we have Nic Cage, who - well, I have no idea why they selected him for this role. Speaking to USA Today, the film's executive producer Sam Register described the "great responsibility" the team felt when filling out their cameo cast. The development and cancellation of the infamous project was chronicled in the documentary The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened? in 2015.

"It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies-everyone but the Teen Titans, that is".
