Maharashtra: Class 10 History paper leaked an hour before exam

At least 15 students were found with the copy of History paper on their WhatsApp.

In a shocking incident that shows lapse on part of authorities, the class X History paper of ongoing Maharashtra state board reportedly leaked an hour before the exam at a centre in Kalyan on Monday.

"Three private tuition classes - Masoom classes, Vinita's classes and Twinkle classes alleged to have promised students that they would get the question papers before the exam". The leak, the second one to take place on Monday, was detected at M. V. M. Swami Muktanand High School in Veera Desai Road, Andheri West, minutes before the two-hour exam was scheduled to begin at 11 am.

Three coaching classes are on police radar and further investigation in the case is on.

Sanders told reporters that Trump also didn't raise the issues of election meddling or Russia's allegedly tainted voting process. Later, at her daily press briefing, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders defended the president's handling of the call.


Meanwhile, Mahesh Patil, SP, Thane rural police, said, "An FIR has been registered against unknown people at the Titwala police station".

Police also detained eight students and handed them over to their parents. "After cross-checking it was established that the image found in the smartphones of the students and the board question paper was same", said Albin Anthony, administrator at the school. A senior police official said that notices would be sent to parents of the juveniles, who will not be booked as offenders in the case.

At around 9:30am, the management of Sacred Heart School in Kalyan, Mumbai, received a tip-off that some students would receive the question paper through WhatsApp an hour before the exam.

After several HSC paper leaks, the board this time started unwrapping sealed question papers in the exam hall itself. Subsequently, the school authorities conducted a surprise check of the smartphones and bags of students who had appeared for the exam today.
