Officials said the unidentified driver had been arrested and there were no injuries.

The incident happened Sunday morning, when the driver of a Nissan Infiniti crossed into oncoming traffic on Biscayne Boulevard and crashed into three cars at Northeast 36th Street.

Two people then approached the driver, shouting and banging on the window.

The video shows several witnesses getting out of their cars to physically stop the driver from leaving the scene of the crash before authorities arrived.

The driver eventually pulled away again. Another SUV can be seen making a U-turn and following close behind.

It was at that point that people gathered around again, with some trying to pry open the vehicle doors, with one man screaming "Don't move", while others snapped pictures of the Infiniti's license plate. The cause of the crash is now unknown. Moments before, another driver got out of his white van and broke every window of the SUV with a sledgehammer.
