Now when it comes to OnePlus' older devices like the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, there's no official word on when those will be updated, but they will likely be getting Android Oreo at some point. This new open beta is supposed to be based on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo update for its current flagship phones.

As mentioned, the key highlight of the new software update is Android 8.1 Oreo.

Of course, the biggest change with this beta is the fact that you're getting updated to Android 8.1 Oreo, but there are also some other changes afoot here. Including a new auto pick up gesture, allowing you to answer an incoming call by raising the phone.

With the update in its fourth beta, we can expect the stable version to be out soon.

In addition to improvements underneath the software, the new beta iteration also brings in some new functionalities.

It will take few days for the Android 8.1 update to hit OnePlus 5/5T devices. OnePlus says users should wait for sometime while the selected build is updated to their phone. The update brings some cool features to the already interesting smartphone. As a part of the gaming mode, the smartphone gets new optimizations for immersive gaming experience and these optimizations include pausing adaptive brightness, power saving, and notifications blocking.

The replies from the OnePlus 5T users in the forums thread regarding the latest Open Beta update shows that users find the iPhone X-like gesture navigation to be improved to a great extent. Given how well the Browns' front office knows Randall, its desire for a player it scouted and watched in person also makes sense. The Browns are going to likely draft with a quarterback with one of their first-round picks, so the move was inevitable.
