Oppo has taken to Twitter to tease the upcoming flagship smartphone in India alleged to be the successor to the Oppo F5, which was launched in November previous year. But looks like Oppo is skipping the Oppo F6 and will directly launch the Oppo F7 in India. Like every year, Oppo is expected to announce young Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya as its new brand ambassador.

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is all set to launch its latest flagship for 2018- The Oppo F7.

Besides Oppo, the other smartphone manufacturers like Huawei, OnePlus, Asus and others are also planning to launch smartphones embracing iPhone X like launch. The OPPO F5 came with a full-screen display, but, it did not have a notch like the OPPO F7.

Black Panther Continues To Shatter Records, Tops 1 Billion Worldwide
A 44% drop for the tentpole's fourth weekend would be on par with its third weekend decline of 41%. Black Panther added $9.97 million at the domestic box office on Friday in second place.

As the company's official Twitter account has deleted the tweet about the launch date, we are not confirming it but it could still be the same date on which we might see the phone getting officially launched. The image of the phone also reveals the presence of a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the bottom of the device. However, earlier reports claim that the phone will feature a 6.2-inch Full HD+ 19:9 display with 89.09% screen-to- body-ratio. Another highlight of the Oppo F7 will be the Notch display, and the irony here is Oppo marketing the feature as 'Awesome Notch Screen'.

Being the successor to the Oppo F5, this one is said to feature a 25MP selfie camera at the front with inbuilt AI capabilities such as AR stickers, enhanced beauty mode, real-time HDR and more.

Details on the chipset are scarce, however, given the design similarities with the R15, it is possible to have the Oppo F7 running the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC, GSMArena reports.
