Back in January, Philips Hue announced it was working on outdoor smart lights ideally suited for patios, gardens, or balconies. The Philips HueInara (MSRP $49.99, 800 lumens), Lucca (MSRP $59.99, 800 lumens) and Ludere (MSRP $129.99, 2600 lumens) luminaires offer great light distribution, and are flawless for use next to a front or back door or above a garage.

This new outdoor range of lights will be available beginning in July in both the United States and Europe.

Like their indoor counterparts, these Hue products are a tad on the pricey side but offer a range of features not available on traditional lighting products.

Philips Hue products usually just have tiresome model number names but someone over at Hue HQ has got creative with the monikers for the new outdoor line. Your outdoor lights can also be triggered by the Home & Away function in the Hue app.
