Sealing: BJP-AAP colluding with each other, alleges Rahul Gandhi

He said in the name of an All Party meeting on sealing issue, the two faces of the same coin - Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) - on Tuesday sat together and praised each other's efforts.

The traders' body has also appealed the Arvind Kejriwal-led government in the state to "bring a bill which could stop sealing" on March 16, when the Delhi Assembly would reconvene.

Cong MPs will raise sealing issue in Parliament along with AAP MPs.

Kejriwal, on Saturday, wrote to chiefs of local units -BJP's Manoj Tiwari and Congress's Maken - inviting them to hold a discussion on the matter.

The CAIT, however, demanded Singh to press the Centre for enacting a special legislation in the Parliament which could overturn the sealing of commercial entities in residential areas - as ordered by the Supreme Court.

The Congress leader added that the Master Plan for Delhi-2021 had provisions to protect commercial units from sealing and that the government should submit this to the apex court and the monitoring committee.

"In today's meeting, it was decided that the all-party delegation will meet the Monitoring Committee to find a solution to the sealing issue", Mr Sisodia said. It was during a meeting at the CM's residence.

Notably, a "bandh" is being observed on Tuesday by the traders in the national capital in protest against the sealing drive.

Mr Sisodia said that BJP could resolve the issue immediately if it wanted to.

In solidarity with Prakash, IAS and Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Services (DCS) officers have not been attending meetings with AAP ministers, and only maintaining written communication with them.

"We have given a representation to the CM, and will send this to the BJP also, in which we have divided the city into six parts". Mr Tiwari who is on a state visit overseas on Tuesday had a teleconference discussion with senior Delhi BJP Office bearers and traders on the sealing issue.

Health minister Satyendar Jain, development minister Gopal Rai, AAP leader Sanjay Singh, and MLA Somnath Bharti were among the others who took part in the talks. "Because it is not being done now, there is chaos", Maken said.

Mr Maken said that everyone should join hands to stop the sealing drive and all the facts should be properly presented before the Supreme Court.
