The PCB had been trying to convince foreign teams to restart worldwide cricket back in Pakistan.

Since then, Pakistan hosted two Twenty20 and three one-day internationals against Zimbabwe in 2015 but last year's final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), three T20 internationals against a World XI and a T20 worldwide match against Sri Lanka helped convince the West Indies. Karachi is also set to host the final of the ongoing Pakistan Super League. "Good news is that West Indies will play three games, on [April, 1, 2 and 4], but these matches will be played in Karachi".

"I have been working day and night to conclude an agreement with West Indies which I have finalized", PCB chairperson Najam Sethi said. They will not play in Lahore but in Karachi.

Netanyahu urges Liberman not to ditch coalition over military exemption bill
Lieberman has stuck to his position of opposing the conscription bill, but says he will not quit the government over it for now. Rival parties have threatened to bolt the coalition over the issue, raising the possibility of early elections.

"The PSL trophy will be taken directly from Dubai to Karachi, where final will be held at a jam-packed stadium".

An ICC security consultant will visit Karachi during the PSL final and Sethi said the PCB has contracted the same consultant for the West Indies series. This is part of our agreement with the West Indies board. But the Board had no other option as the Sindh government had requested PCB to not have a match on April 4, when the province will be observing the 39th death anniversary of Zulfiqar Bhutto, who was the founder of the Pakistan People's Party, Sindh's ruling party.
