The network said their broadcast of Game 1 in the first-round series against the Miami Heat had a 6.1 HH rating, reaching about 175,000 households.

The Sixers were in red-hot form in the build-up to the contest with their crushing 130-103 Game 1 win over the Heat last week making it 17 consecutive wins for head coach Brett Brown's side.

With the Sixers struggling from three-point range, the Heat found their touch, outscoring Philly by 34-13 in the second quarter to take a 56-42 lead into the half-time break.

Having split the first two games in Philadelphia, the Sixers are Miami-bound for Games 3 and 4 on April 19 and 21. However, crucial misses eventually led to Wade burying multiple buckets to seal the game late on.

Tens of Thousands of Syrians Protest against US Aggression
A local reporter for The Arab News said Israeli warplanes were spotted in Syrian airspace just before the missiles were reported. US officials recently said that Washington was not planning for another military strike on Syria after the Saturday attack.

Now, the goal for the Heat has to be to limit Whiteside's minutes until Joel Embiid comes back in this series - because that is when Whiteside can have an impact. "He [Embiid] just wants to play basketball, he wants to be with his team, he wants to play in front of the fans and he wants to see this through". "I wish more than anything that I was out there. When he's not able to do that, he gets frustrated". How limited, and what happens if Spoelstra makes it really limited bears watching - not just for this series, but also as a prelude to a potential move away from Whiteside this summer (if Miami can find a taker for him).

If you're good, they will watch.

Embiid has been out since suffering a fractured orbital bone and concussion on March 28 versus the New York Knicks.

This is not the first time Philadelphia has played it safe with Embiid's on-court health.
