Apple to stop production of iPhone X

Earlier this week, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) published a regulatory listing that seemed to confirm Apple's new iPhone SE could be arriving in a few weeks.

The first generation iPhone SE was launched in March 2016.

This is relevant as EEC usually adds new products to its database about a month before the official launch.

The iPhone SE 2 will supposedly look similar to the original, minus a headphone jack. The "Field Trip" sixth generation iPads were heralded by the regulatory agency about two weeks before the event.

The EEC revealed the following iPhone model numbers - A1920, A1921, A1984, A2097, A2098, A2099, A2101, A2103, A2104, and A2106, all of which run iOS 11. Instead, I think what we're seeing is more of a reflection of Apple's new strategy in response to slowing growth in the phone market. But Apple is known to have unique model numbers for different regions, which eliminates any doubts about seeing 11 iPhones.

The identities of both students were not immediately released. Police have asked the public to stay away from the school. The students were being transported to the church by bus.

Additionally, case makers who spoke with Japanese website Mac Otakara have also spoken about to the possibility of an upcoming update to the iPhone SE.

In February this year, a report out of China claimed the iPhone SE 2 could be made official at WWDC 2018 in June this year.

Ahead of Apple's (AAPL -3.3%) May 1 earnings, Morgan Stanley has trimmed its Q2 iPhone unit expectations to 34M vs. Street consensus for 43M, and sees lower revenue accordingly: $46B vs. Street estimates closer to $61B.

Apple iPhone SE lovers, we've got some good news and some bad news for you. And since it is going to be a niche device, the iPhone SE 2 will not have to worry about any direct competition. The device is still said to feature Touch ID suggesting and it will likely keep its 4-inch display and form factor. Well, according to the case-makers Macotakara spoke with this week at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics trade show in Hong Kong, the iPhone SE could feature Qi wireless charging like Apple's most recent handsets.
