Authorities said a man who lived there jumped out of the window to escape.

Authorities said the home was almost destroyed. The woman was eventually found safe and was away visiting with her adult daughter. One was discovered alive and one was deceased.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported. According to investigators, initial reports of what appeared to be an explosion may be attributed to medical oxygen tanks and ammunition that were located within the burned area of the home.
