Ed Sheeran to star in new Beatles-related film

Universal Pictures has announced that they will wide release the forthcoming untitled Danny Boyle musical comedy on Friday, September 13, 2019.

Now, he's rumored to be in talks to appear in an upcoming comedy movie, directed by Danny Boyle and written by Richard Curtis. If casting plans go well - Himesh Patel, the actor who played Tamwar Masood in EastEnders, has been cast to play the up-and-coming musician, Also on board is The Guernsey Literary Potato Peel Pie star Lily James and potentially Kate McKinnon - executives are looking to film this summer.

The Mail on Sunday reports that Sheeran is to appear on screen and write new music for the film, which will also include Beatles classics.
