PM to inaugurate Ambedkar memorial on Friday

With Unnao and Kathua rape cases sparkling intense protest across the country, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stayed tightlipped without making any comments on the issues. The birthday of Dr B R Ambedkar will be observed on Saturday, April 14.

Dr Babasaheb had, in his resignation letter, written that'I have not been made party of any committee of the Cabinet - neither the foreign affairs committee not the committee on defence.

"I am confident the projects launched on the birth anniversary of Ambedkar will set new parameters", said Modi.
