Sega Ages for Switch Series Could Include Games for Saturn and Dreamcast

SEGA Ages is a series of classic SEGA titles being released on the Nintendo Switch.

Below, you can check out screenshots of Thunder Force IV, Alex Kidd in Miracle World, and Gain Ground. Most of these compilations never left Japan, but many hardcore retro gaming enthusiasts and Sega fans still consider Sega Ages to be the gold standard when it comes to classic game re-releases. The full lineup includes over 15 games and will be handled by studio M2, who has cut its teeth on a number of brilliant retro revivals over the past few years. SEGA Ages titles will start releasing on Nintendo Switch this Summer.

Thunder Force IV will see the Styx Mode from the SEGA Saturn edition return, and online leaderboards will also be supported. The first SEGA AGES batch will come out this summer. Now, SEGA Ages is being rebooted on the Nintendo Switch, delivering the most faithful ports of Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, and arcade games for the current generation. As such, we prefer to treat these revelations as rumors until the Pokemon Company itself confirms these details regarding the Pokemon Nintendo Switch game.The last Pokemon game to be released was Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, which was released on the Nintendo 3DS. SEGA AGES will launch in North America, Europe, and Japan.
