When you read the synopsis for Hotel Artemis, it sounds like it should be part of the John Wick universe, but it must have a little more going for it than that to bring in a cast including Jodie Foster, Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Boutella, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Jeff Goldblum, Charlie Day, and Dave Bautista.

The trailer is very high-octane and follows a couple of criminals who head to Hotel Artemis following a botched heist, which sees one of them injured.

The first trailer's arrived for the action thriller Hotel Artemis from screenwriter and first time feature film director Drew Pearce (writer of Iron Man 3, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation). Hotel Artemis will serve as quirky counter-programming to the star studded Ocean's Eleven franchise spinoff Ocean's 8 during its opening weekend at the domestic box office later this year. In reality, it's a hospital for criminals. As great as this trailer makes the movie look, it does manage to give quite a lot away-if you're not too into that you might just want to wait for the release.

Two dead after plane crashes in Coshocton County
The plane was reported missing by relatives and was located in a cornfield around 1:00 a.m. This article will be updated as additional information is released by authorities.

Written and directed by Pearce, the film takes place in a near-future Los Angeles and revolves around a secret members-only hospital that caters to criminals.

Foster plays the head nurse at the establishment. (Or as Drax the Destroyer puts it, "Visiting hours... are never", before murdering a dude.) Think: the Continental Hotel from John Wick: Chapter 2, but with more bedpans and IV drips and Jeff Goldblums. Under control of The Nurse (Jodie Foster), it has a strict set of rules that forbid killing, weapons, and other violence.
