Former FBI director James Comey says in a new book that President Donald Trump reminded him of a mafia boss who demanded absolute loyalty, saw the entire world against him, and lied about everything.

The Washington Post described Comey's book as "scathing" while the New York Times headline said it offered "a grim view of Trump".

"I've spent more time in the Oval Office in a given day than this man got to spend with the president over the course of his very brief tenure before he was sacked", she said during a separate interview with "Fox and Friends", adding, "He's taking one or two or three meetings with the president and retroactively putting his own spin on them to sell books".

"It was my great honor to fire James Comey!". "Virtually everyone in Washington thought he should be fired for the bad job he did-until he was, in fact, fired", Trump wrote on Twitter. In previous testimony, however, he said he never authorized an FBI subordinate to leak information about investigations of Trump or Clinton. He is a weak and.

A combination of file photos show U.S. President Donald Trump in the White House in Washington, DC, U.S. April 9, 2018 and former FBI Director James Comey on Capitol Hill in Washington, U.S., June 8, 2017.

"With former FBI Director #James Comey releasing his new book titled "#A Higher Truth" next week, Donald Trump has not been happy about what has been revealed.

Comey claimed Trump was particularly concerned about unproven allegations that in 2013 he had watched as prostitutes urinated on a bed in a Moscow hotel, asking Comey to investigate to disprove it.

Bayern Munich send Champions League warning to Real Madrid
The decision to appoint Kovac marks a change of approach for success-driven Bayern, who had previously opted for big-name coaches. Frankfurt now lie in 6th place in the Bundesliga , five points away from Champions League qualification, with four games to go.

The battle plan against Comey, obtained by CNN Thursday, calls for branding him "Lyin' Comey" through a website, digital advertising and talking points to be sent to Republicans before his memoir is released next week.

Trump's tweets came just hours before Comey's first TV interview, with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos, was set to air on Sunday evening. "But I don't know".

In a Friday tweet, Trump claimed without evidence that "McCabe was totally controlled by Comey - McCabe is Comey!" Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund the research.

"Unprompted, and in another zag in the conversation, [Trump] brought up what he called the "golden showers thing, ' repeating much of what he had said to me previously adding that it bothered him if there was 'even a one percent chance" his wife, Melania, thought it was true..." He then began discussing cases where women had accused him of sexual assault, a subject I had not raised. "It wasn't necessary for my goal, which is to alert him we have this information". He described Trump as volatile, defensive and concerned more about how his own image than about alleged Russian meddling in the presidential election.

Comey writes that Trump asked him to many times to ensure people knew that the Federal Bureau of Investigation was not specifically investigating him. I don't remember spelling it out, but it had to have been.

Some of the early news coverage of Comey's memoir has made a mockery of Trump, including the cover of Friday's Daily News in NY.

Anticipating broad media attention for Comey as his book tour gets underway, Sanders scolded reporters in advance for preparing to "cover it endlessly, all day today, all day tomorrow, and my guess is every day next week with very little time given to the issues that people care about". "Slimeball!", he also wrote.
