Final Fantasy XI Mobile Reboot Gets New Screenshots

We've been hearing all sorts of rumors as of late about Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Remake, which was announced years ago during Sony's E3 presentation. A recent job listing made it seem like the game wasn't as far as long as fans would have hoped, but a new bit of information alludes to the development team also not having a solid grasp on when FFVII Remake will be coming.

According to Final Fantasy VII Remake producer, Yoshinori Kitase, it is said that legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu will help with the PS4 exclusive Final Fantasy VII Remake. It's unclear at this point if Uematsu will simply be remastering the tracks he created for the original release, or if he will be creating a brand new soundtrack from the ground-up. He stopped after composing the music to Final Fantasy X's sequel.

There's now no release date for when Locke will be added to Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, but we'll make sure to update this article whenever one gets announced.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is definitely one of the most anticipated upcoming games from the company, so it would make sense to at least show off a teaser trailer or something at the show. Nonetheless, we are willing to give the reboot a chance and are eager to see if the mobile game will provide us with that Final Fantasy goodness, or will leave us running to our nearest copy of our favorite Final Fantasy game and sobbing loudly into it.
