In all, CNN says it spoke to 16 people - 8 who claim they were victims, and 8 who witnessed Freeman's misconduct.

The video above shows Chicago entertainment reporter Tyra Martin, who interviewed Freeman many times over a 10 year period, being repeatedly complimented by the actor while discussing his movie, Now You See Me.

'I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected - that was never my intent'.

"Morgan got freaked out and didn't know what to say", she alleged.

Freeman, who won a Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award in January at the height of attention to the #MeToo movement, was widely praised for calling out the group's gender-specific award statues in his acceptance speech.

Three reporters, including CNN's Chloe Melas, who cowrote the report on the allegations, accused Freeman of making inappropriate comments about their appearance at press junkets.

UPDATE: (5/24, 12:16 p.m. EDT): TransLink says it will pause Freeman's voice announcements on its transit system in light of the allegations against the actor.

Russian Military Downed Malaysian Flight
Russia, which has repeatedly denied responsibility for the MH17 crash, on Thursday reiterated it was not involved in the incident. MH17 was shot down over the conflict zone in Ukraine's Donetsk region on July 17, 2014, killing all 298 people on board.

Another assistant said Freeman would comment on the bodies of women on set and that they would be careful not to wear fitted clothing around him lest he say something inappropriate. "He did comment on our bodies", she admitted.

As with several other women featured in the article, she said "Freeman's fame and power kept her from speaking out".

An unidentified woman told the network she was harassed by Freeman in 2015 while working as a production assistant for the comedy "Going in Style" starring the famed actor.

Revelations Entertainment was founded by Freeman in 1996 with Lori McCreary, the current president of the Producers Guild Association.

Melas, who was pregnant at the time, said upon meeting Freeman he looked her up-and-down and said a "Boy do I wish I was there".

Eight women accused Morgan Freeman of inappropriate behavior in a CNN report published Thursday.

Morgan is also said to have stared at women's breasts and asked women to twirl for him. CNN notes that cameras recorded the first remark, but not the second.
