Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ get Burgundy Red and Sunrise Gold colors

While Galaxy S9 now supports ARCore, it will be interesting to see how Samsung and Google work together to bring support on the future devices. Along with Midnight Black, Coral Blue, Lilac Purple and Titanium Gray, Samsung has now launched new Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red models of the phone. Samsung will begin shipping the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus in Burgundy Red in Korea and China starting this month. Separately, Samsung has also unveiled the Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red colour variants of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Korea Herald learned directly from the company that consumers in the two countries can expect the red variant to hit shelves on May 25.

Samsung said the gold edition will also be sold in large markets such as Australia, Chile, Germany and Russian Federation, with shipments to other countries to follow. Additional market availability details are coming soon. Samsung appears to be determined to expand the reach of the S9 and S9+ with the addition of new variants. The company is also expected to launch a Lite version of Galaxy S8, the previous version of Galaxy S9, on 21 May in China.

Samsung said Tuesday it's adding Burgundy Red to the stable of colors the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus is available in. The new Sunrise Gold color creates a feeling of both vibrancy and calm. It aims to appeal all users based on style and fashion, providing an urban interior design to the devices.
