Lele Pons, a YouTube sensation who also has amassed 25 million followers on Instagram, plans to launch a new cooking show on IGTV in hopes of increasing her audience and eventually generating more revenue. IGTV is different in a few ways. First, Instagram is now a global community of one billion! Instagram co-founder and chief executive Kevin Systrom said in a statement on the Instagram blog: "We've made it simple, too".

IGTV will be available as a standalone app, but you'll also be able to access it and watch videos right from the regular Instagram app. Videos will begin playing as soon as the user opens the app and will fill be full-screen vertically - contrasting with YouTube, which requires users to turn their phones horizontally for full-screen capabilities.

Instagram chose to create an app dedicated to the video service not because it's poorly integrated with the current app, but because they wanted to offer a clean app for you to watch videos without any distraction.

YouTube has a serious competitor now from Facebook owned photo hosting social media site Instagram.

Videos on IGTV also follow the current Instagram guidelines, meaning no nude, violent, nude, discriminatory, or hateful content can be posted. Instagram has always been a place to connect with the people who inspire, educate and entertain you every day.

"Longer vertical video on Instagram makes it even easier to get closer to your audience and be discovered by new people". With that said, I also enjoy watching content on Twitch. The app went live on both iOS and Android as well as on the Instagram app. People can also comment on IGTV videos and share them with friends.

Oil prices dip as Iran signals support for small OPEC supply increase
Benchmark Brent crude fell $1.10 a barrel to a low of $73.64 before recovering slightly to $73.74, down $1.00 by 0820 GMT. Iran has so far been the main barrier to a new pact, objecting to USA calls for increased output.

"The launch of IGTV is really exciting because it now means that Instagram covers all the bases". Facebook has encouraged popular video-makers to upload vertical videos on its new platform, but it does not now share advertising revenue with creators.

On the broadest level, all content on IGTV will have to adhere to Instagram's community guidelines, and "proactive and reactive systems" will help remove inappropriate content. Just like Instagram, IGTV will not have specified "content creators" and encourages engagement among all users.

The service will host vertical videos only.

IGTV will be making its way to users over the coming weeks.

While Facebook offers no detailed revenue breakdown, the research firm eMarketer estimates Instagram will generate $5.48 billion in net U.S. ad revenue this year, up 70.4 percent from last year and accounting for more than one-fourth of Facebook's net mobile ad revenue.
