The star will still train normally on Wednesday after limping out of a session ahead of Brazil's World Cup clash with Costa Rica.

The Paris-Saint Germain forward looked in fine fettle while taking part in a warm-up drill but quickly pulled up and was unable to continue.

A Brazil spokesman linked the injury to Neymar being repeatedly fouled in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Switzerland.

Defending champions Germany made a disastrous start to their bid to win back-to-back World Cups with a shock defeat by Mexico. He was visibly in pain after he tried to intercept a ball with his right foot while at the centre of the keep-away circle. He limped as he walked away from the field toward the dressing room, accompanied by a team doctor. This was a recovery session for the starters.

A third fan wrote: "Neymar injured in training".

WHO designate 'gaming disorder' or video game addiction as health condition
Even though almost half of Americans play video games, making the jump to addiction is another thing entirely. For video game addicts, it might soon be 'game over'.

Neymar had already practiced separately from his teammates on Monday. In 1998, Alan Shearer was fouled a whopping 10 times in England's curtain-jerker against Tunisia.

Just a couple of days after Brazil's tournament opener, Neymar appears to be hurt.

"Neymar is one of the best players in the world and it's a great plus to have him in the team, " said Philippe Coutinho, who has gained a bigger role as Neymar struggles with his fitness. "He is a very important player for us".

"Yes, Switzerland hit us a lot. but all matches will be like this, I guess", Coutinho told reporters.
