Fabinho has revealed that the French global congratulated him following his move to the Premier League. "Unfortunately I have not had a chance to congratulate him for what he did during this World Cup", said Fabinho.

"We had four players in the (World Cup) semis, which is OK, we can deal with that". Tottenham had nine players in the semis.

'If they need a leg up front, I'm also happy to go up there as well. They play the World Cup, then the Nations League, next summer is the final of the Nations League which is really insane. We have to carry on that way this season so it will be very important for us to follow that through.

"It was a hard fight to convince him that he needed a holiday", Klopp told Sky Sports News.

"If the same thing happens here, I don't mind whether I have to defend or attack". He has already said that he can use me in various positions.

"Jordan needs a holiday, so that means August 5 he will be back".

Putin Proposed Eastern Ukraine Referendum to Trump, Bloomberg Reports
Ukraine and European powers are unlikely to support a referendum in the Donbass region, where pro-Russian separatists hold sway. Trump allegedly agreed to consider it, but asked the Russian leader to keep deliberations on this issue confidential.

"That would mean five days training after three weeks' holiday".

"With Trent I have a special agreement", said Klopp. "He wanted to be in earlier as well. We have an excellent manager and a very good group", Fabinho was quoted as saying by The Telegraph.

Liverpool finished a distance behind Pep Guardiola's centurions last season in the Premier League but, in the Champions League and one meeting at Anfield in January, the gap between the sides was fractional.

Mbappé joined Ligue 1 champions PSG last summer on an initial season long loan deal, with the club to finalise a permanent deal this month, for a fee believed to be around €145 million plus €35 million in add-ons.

Liverpool had a £67m offer accepted for the Brazilian this week, which eclipses the previous record for a goalkeeper of £35m paid by Manchester City for Ederson last summer - which, due to exchange rates at the time, is more than Juventus paid for Gianluigi Buffon - leaving only personal terms to be discussed. We received a significant offer for Alisson from Liverpool and we evaluated it. It's not that we lack ambition. A strong and imposing figure, he will be crucial to helping protect Liverpool's defence though his manager acknowledges it may take time for him to become attuned to the English game.
