HMD Global has launched the Nokia X5, a cut-price Android phone that apes the look of the iPhone X. The smartphone will be available online from Paytm Mall and Nokia's own website.

Update: We've spoken to HMD Global, which has told us "At this time, there are no plans to bring the X5 to other markets". Starting with offers on Paytm Mall, customers buying Nokia 3.1 from an offline retail outlet by scanning the Paytm Mall QR code will be entitled to 10 percent cashback on subsequent recharges and bill payments on Paytm.

The Nokia X5 shares the same design language as the Nokia X6 which launched earlier this year. Users purchasing the Nokia 3.1 will additionally get two Rs 250 movie cashback vouchers which can be redeemed against booking minimum two movie tickets via Paytm.

Talking about the specifications of the Nokia 3.1, it sports a 5.2-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore, users buying the handset using ICICI Bank Credit or Debit Card will get a 5% cashback. On recharge of Rs 149, customers will get 1GB data daily along with unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day with a validity of 28 days.

The offensive has triggered the single biggest displacement of the war, with several hundred thousand people uprooted. President Donald Trump said on Monday after his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

There's a 3060mAh battery running the Android 8.1 operating system, but we'll be getting an upgrade to Android P in the future - in fact, like Nokia's other phones, this is part of the Android One program, meaning it'll get direct and regular upgrades. The smartphone has a 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla glass.

The Nokia 3.1 is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750N SoC along with Mali T860 GPU. Nokia is also providing room for memory expansion (up to 128GB) via a microSD card slot.

A fingerprint sensor on the rear of the phone sits below a 13MP / 5MP dual-sensor camera, with a f/2.0 aperture on the larger snapper to get improved (but likely not stunning) low-light photos. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The all-new Nokia 3.1 Android One will be available in three color hues, namely Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome and White/Iron. Likewise, you'll find dual cameras on back: an f2 aperture 13-megapixel one with faster phase detection autofocus and a secondary 5-megapixel camera for "depth of field".

Connectivity options on the phone include 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, and headphone jack.
