SDCC ’18: The Shazam Trailer Has Arrived

At San Diego Comic-Con, the two-hour Warner Bros. presentation included the Shazam teaser trailer (which was a surprise, given that the main expectation was for footage at this date). Jason Momoa stars as Aquaman, with Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Randall Park, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Willem Dafoe, Graham McTavish, Temuera Morrison, Michael Beach, Ludi Lin, and featuring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta. Are things better down where it's wetter? "It's something I'm super excited for everybody to see, [Chris] is a very important part of our movie", stated Jenkins. " and even "Wonder Woman 1984", which is only three and a half weeks into production".

Wonder Woman 1984 is set to hit theaters next year, and the cast and crew are now filming the sequel flick. Certainly doesn't look as good as the Shazam! trailer, but I'm willing to give the movie the benefit of the doubt at least until reviews are out.

After first appearing as a supporting player in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, Jason Momoa's Aquaman is finally getting his chance to shine in a solo movie, proving himself to be a capable hero of the land, air, and sea.

This time we are going underwater into his world and for the first time we will see people he has to deal with.
