The christening of Prince Louis has been marked by the release of a collection of family photographs.

In one photo, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are joined by their children, along with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.

'Everyone was so relaxed and in such good spirits, it was an absolute pleasure.

Speaking after the official shoot, Mr Holyoak said: "I was truly honoured at being asked to take the official photographs at the christening of Prince Louis, and to witness at first hand such a happy event".

But without doubt, Prince George, who will turn five this month, stole the scene with his massive grin as he sat on his father's lap.

The Middletons were out for the second photo, which only features members of the royal family (and those who are members by marriage, including Meghan and Camilla).

Prince Louis' whole family gathered for his christening photoshoot.

After cave ordeal, Thai boys now face battle with fame
The resilience of the boys has also been surprising, with health officials conveying a largely positive picture of their recovery. British cave divers Rick Stanton and John Volanthen found the group on July 2, squatting on the ledge in the flooded chamber.

The official photographs were taken by Matt Holyoak after the christening.

Louis is wearing a replica of the royal christening robe, made of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, which was created in 1841 for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Victoria, the Princess Royal.

Not only that, it was the first major celebration held where Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were all in attendance for professional photos.

Prince Louis Arthur Charles was born on 23 April 2018 in the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London as the third child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Royal photographer Matt Holyoak was picked to capture the precious moments between the family.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have selected different photographers to capture the official portraits for each of their children's christenings.

After the ceremony, the baby prince looked content and adorable as he wiggled his fingers at his smiling mum.
