Wearing a white LA Galaxy jersey nearly as big as she is, the 7-year-old, labeled as "tiny but mighty" by the MLS team's public address announcer, was ready to perform the national anthem on Sunday in front of more than 25,000 fans at StubHub Center in Los Angeles.

Malea Emma said she didn't know she would be performing at the MLS game in Los Angeles until last week. As ABC News explains, Malea won the Galaxy's anthem-singing contest on social media, then proved why, to the delight of both fans and players.

"I hope that I could sing with Christina Aguilera because she's my favorite singer", Malea Emma told CBS2 News Monday.
