The video shows a Huawei Mate 20 equipped not only with a powerhouse hardware spec including the fastest mobile CPU in the world, the Kirin 980, along with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, but also Huawei's "something new" square rear camera array. Set to be featured in the upcoming Huawei Mate 20 series on 16 October 2018, this is a fairly good sign of things to come. Huawei did not stop there though, adding some unique twists to the earbuds - well, the case to be more specific.

Those who have used or looked at wireless earbuds that are truly wireless in that the earbuds connect wirelessly to each other and the source - no wire between them - know that a charging case is part of what you get when you buy some. It's not just enough that the Freebuds 2 Pro will charge wirelessly within their own dock - the existing model already does that, much like Apple's Airpods charge in their little case. The case can also charge via USB-C if you prefer.

Of course, you'll also be able to charge the FreeBuds 2 Pro by placing them on a wireless charging mat, but now you'll be able to juice them up on the go, as long as you have your phone on you.

Interestingly, an "ironed out" version of one of the two promo images initially disclosed yesterday makes it clear there's something on the Mate 20 Pro chin. It appears a total of 20 hours of play may be possible off a single charge of the case, so the case itself will probably hold around 6 charges.

It looks like Huawei will release a new Apple AirPods ripoff, the Huawei Freebuds 2 Pro.

Freebuds 2 Pro, a new pair of wireless earphones by Huawei has leaked out on the internet.
