Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) With Triple Camera Setup, Dolby Atmos Audio Launched

Earlier this month, Samsung mobile boss DJ Koh said the company's mid-range phones will get cutting-edge features before its flagships going forward.

The new Samsung Galaxy A7 features a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display with 2220 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The device comes in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM models and supports microSD card support extending storage capacity up to 512 GB.

The Galaxy A7 boasts a triple-lens setup that features a 24MP primary camera with a F/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel shooter with a 120-degree ultra-wide field of view, and a 5MP "depth" module used for bokeh effects.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is officially priced at RM3,099 and it's available at all Samsung Experience Stores and authorised dealers.

The mid-ranger also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, support for Dolby Atmos (on headphones only), and Google's Android 8.0 Oreo OS, complete with Samsung's software additions - including Samsung Health and Bixby - loaded on top. It charges via USB-C and you can replenish its battery quickly with Samsung's Adaptive Fast Charger.
