Amy Schumer announces pregnancy -- and voting recommendations

It will be the first child for Schumer and her husband, Chris Fischer.

Schumer teased the news on Instagram, and told her fans to head over to Yellin's Story for "some exciting news".

Amy Schumer, a comedian who's never been afraid to make her political views known, announced her pregnancy along with voting recommendations for next month's midterm elections.

"Now read all the way to the bottom, you'll see there's some news down there".

Yellin posted a list of some of Schumer's recommended congressional and gubernatorial candidates. "Follow her and VOTE!"

However fans will be left wondering if the talented actress" good news is genuine, after a pregnancy "announcement' earlier this year turned out to be a simple promotional stunt. I'm sorry, my friends said my hands were near...

"No I'm not pregnant", she said immediately after the wedding, dispelling rumours that it was a shotgun affair. Um, that's what I was trying to allude to but thank you for thinking of my womb'.

Schumer and Fischer tied the knot in Malibu in February 2018.

'I have never wanted kids, ' she said. "I couldn't be happier for them".

Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston and Larry David were among the guests.

Schumer and Fischer have been together since November 2016.
