Mourinho said after the game that Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri told him on the field that he would handle the issue internally, and that Ianni later apologized to him for his behavior.

What happened? Substitute Ross Barkley was well placed to score Chelsea's equaliser in the 96th minute.

Chelsea dominated the ball from there, claiming 60 per cent of it in the first half, and could have been two up just after the break had Alvaro Morata made better connection with his low effort from just inside the box.

Mourinho stayed in his seat but, after Ianni ran past him, reacted to something the Italian said and had to be restrained.

"Oh come on, I can tell you that the 97 minutes of the game was so good that you have to focus on that", Mourinho told Sky Sports when asked about the incident after the game.

He said: "I'm not annoyed with anything".

"And after that Sarri's assistant came to me and apologised to me".

"Of course I accept apologies and forget it, because I also made lots of mistakes in my career".

Bosa to focus on National Football League draft instead of returning to Ohio State
Now that he'll join his brother Joey Bosa in the National Football League , one teammate on Ohio State left a parting message. Ohio State, meanwhile, is now undefeated and preparing for an October 20 meeting with the Purdue Boilermakers at Ohio Stadium.

Maurizio Sarri's side went in to the worldwide break in fine form having thrashed Southampton 3-0 at St Mary's Stadium but they'll be expecting a much stiffer test against Manchester United this weekend.

Premier League football returns with a bang as Chelsea entertain Manchester United in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off at Stamford Bridge. Mourinho, who accused Chelsea's fans of disrespecting him, also attempted to draw a line under the matter despite saying that Ianni's actions were down to a "bad education".

He said: "At this type of football, United is better than us".

"For me is another game", Mourinho told a news conference on Friday.

Ross Barkley struck a 96th-minute equaliser for Chelsea against Manchester United to spark a chaotic ending to this 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea coach Ianni burst out of the bench and pumped his fists in Mourinho's face, prompting the manager to go after him in the tunnel.

In a match which epitomised the rich history of the Premier League's drama, Manchester United came away with just one point.

But after the interval, he was transformed, playing a key part in the build-up to Martial's goal when his link-play with Paul Pogba in the early stages of the move saw him touch the ball more times than he did in the whole first half.
