Amazon confirms that Prime members can see ‘Aquaman’ a week early

Members are invited to an exclusive early showing of the latest Justice League origin story, set to hit USA theaters on December 21 (a week after its United Kingdom premiere).

Amazon today announced an exclusive partnership with Warner Bros. Prime Members can purchase up to 10 tickets and enjoy the movie at one of more than 1,000 theaters across the country including AMC, Regal, National Amusement Theaters and ArcLight Cinemas.

"Prime offers the best of shopping and entertainment and these early showings of Aquaman are yet another pleasant surprise for members, and one that I'm personally also looking forward to", said Cem Sibay, Vice President of Amazon Prime.

Now it looks as though they'll get their chance - at least if they're Amazon Prime members. After his introduction in 2017's Justice League, Jason Momoa returns as Arthur Curry, the superhero known as Aquaman, as he faces off against his half-brother King Orm (Patrick Wilson) with the fate of the surface world hanging in the balance.

Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for DC's "Aquaman", which features Arthur Curry preparing to rise as King of Atlantis.

Directed by Wan from a script by Will Beall (Gangster Squad) and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (The Conjuring 2), from the story by Geoff Johns, Wan and Beall, the film is being produced by Peter Safran and Rob Cowan, with Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Rob Cowan, Jon Berg, Walter Hamada, and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers. Notably, the film has already picked up a fair amount of positive reviews. Pictures Group and Warner Bros.
