The victor of the runoff election completes the term of former Mississippi Senator Thad Cochran.

"We are pleased to announce Make America Great Again rallies on Monday, November 26 in Tupelo and Biloxi, Mississippi", said Michael Glassner, Chief Operating Officer for Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.in a press release.

Trump endorsed Hyde-Smith in August, and they appeared at an October rally in northern Mississippi. Gov. Phil Bryant appointed Hyde-Smith, a former state agriculture commissioner, to the Senate post after U.S. Sen. He also plans to make an 8 p.m. rally at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi. "President Trump is so committed to getting out the vote for Cindy Hyde-Smith that he scheduled two rallies in the great State of MS on the day before the run-off election". People will be allowed into the event at 2 p.m. that day.

In another one recorded in Starkville released Thursday, Hyde-Smith said maybe it should be made a little hard for liberals to vote. The senator issued a statement after the video posted, saying, "In a comment on November 2, I referred to accepting an invitation to a speaking engagement".

The senator's campaign said anyone trying to cast the statement about the hanging in a negative way is "ridiculous" and that she was joking in her comment about limiting the voting ability of liberals. Referring to a rancher she has known for years, Hyde-Smith said in the video, "If he invited me to a public hanging, I'd be on the front row".

Hyde-Smith was forced into a runoff due to not earning 50 percent of the vote, despite finishing first in the special election earlier this month. U.S. Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey is expected to be in the state with Espy on Monday.
