Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald follows on from the events of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, with the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), at the end of the first instalment.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, is the second of five planned movies set some 70 years before Rowling's best-selling Harry Potter books and movies, which are set in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

2011's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, the conclusion of the sprawling saga that starred Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, is the highest-rated at 96%, trailed by 2004's Prisoner of Azkaban at 90%.

This is concerning for people because apparently, fans have worked out that Minerva McGonagall was born in 1935, yet the film is set in 1927. Warner Bros. has released a magical featurette for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald cataloguing all the connections between the prequel spin-off and the magical adventure series that started it all.

Fans on Twitter really appreciated Miller's dedication to self-expression.

But one eagle-eyed fan pointed out Minerva was named after her grandmother, so perhaps it's her grandmother appearing in the new film.

It picks up where the first film left off, with the character of Newt Scamander meeting wizards and magical creatures in NY. We'll have to wait and see.
