Flight attendant breastfeeds passenger's baby

Patrisha Organo, 24, saved the day on an early-morning flight in the Philippines on Tuesday when she noticed a passenger's baby crying hysterically after take-off.

Since there was no formula milk on board the flight, Organo asked her superior, Sheryl Villaflor, if it would be okay for her to breastfeed the mother's baby.

"Everything went smoothly until after take off, I heard an infant's cry, a cry that will make you want to do anything to help", says Organo.

"As soon as I could help the baby and the mother, I felt so happy - I cannot put into words how fulfilled I felt".

"The helplessness you feel when you can not feed your hungry child is disgusting, so I had to step in", said the mum-of-one. Passengers started looking and staring at the tiny, fragile crying infant.

"I felt a pinch in my heart". According to the World Health Organisation, mothers should evaluate their individual circumstances when deciding if their baby should consume donated breast milk or another nutrition source, like formula.

Organo told the line administrator on her flight of her intention to feed the child and was instantly encouraged.

I breastfed a stranger's baby in flight, and I am just so thankful for the gift of a mother's milk at times of need.

Thereafter, they will eventually file the license in the USA to make the marriage official in both countries. The much-in-love couple has never escaped any moment in expressing their love for each other.


After I had breastfed the baby I escorted her and her mother back to their seat.

Organo received an outpouring of support for her act after sharing her story on Facebook and more than 22,000 people shared her post. "I saw the relief on her mother's eyes". She added that she could relate with the baby's cry because she has a nine months old baby, Jade.

Though breast milk may not be on the ordinary in-flight menu, this stewardess was more than happy to offer up some nourishment for an anxious mother and her crying infant.

Two months before the incident, Organo was promoted as Assistant Line Administrator in the airline company. Yesteday, I was scheduled for a check flight to be qualified as a Cabin Crew Evaluator.

"I was right, the flight's gonna be special, so special not only because I got qualified as an Evaluator but I got to help", she wrote.

As of this writing, the post has garnered 108,000 likes and 21,023 shares.
