Kim Kardashian Forced to Evacuate Home Due to Wildfires in Calabasas

"No Calabasas tonight", Kourtney wrote in an Instagram Story which featured a boot filled with luggage.

Kim Kardashian was one of the 250,000 Southern Californians who had to evacuate their homes as several massive brushfires raged throughout the region.

"Pray for Calabasas", she wrote on her Stories.

Celebrity website TMZ reported that the Malibu home of Caitlyn Jenner, America's best-known transgender activist, was destroyed by the flames on Friday.

As the 38-year-old came into land in her private plane she took aerial videos and pictures of the flames spreading around the around Los Angeles and Ventura County, reports Daily Mail.

'Pray for Calabasas, ' Kardashian-West said. "Pray everyone is safe".

Not long after Kim's evacuation, Kourtney Kardashian took to Instagram to share a photo of her trunk filled with bags as she and her kids were also forced to leave their home because of the fire.

"My House has been evacuated due to nearby fires in Thousand Oaks", Wilson tweeted Thursday night, noting that his pigs and dogs "are fine".

Among the evacuees were celebrities from communities including Calabasas, Malibu and elsewhere, who found themselves in the thick of those forced from their homes.

Three separate wildfire are now raging across the state of California.

She also added another Instagram story image featuring firefighters arriving on the scene.

The Kardashians aren't the only celebrities facing the fires.

"I'm anxious about my house, but there is nothing I can do", Cher tweeted. Saying prayers and thanking all of the fearless firefighters who risk their lives for us, ' Khloe said in tweet on early Friday morning.

Renowned movie director Guillermo del Toro, like many of his famous neighbors, hastily abandoned his home in Agoura Hills.

Actor and producer James Woods, a pariah among his Hollywood peers because of his strong support for Donald Trump, has been actively helping coordinate search and rescue efforts via his Twitter - even reaching across party lines to offer Alyssa Milano help in taking her horses out of harm's way.

The City of Malibu's Twitter account said the fire was burning out of control.
