Tributes have been coming in for Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee, who has died at the age of 95.

In an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jackman took the time to reflect on Lee's legacy, describing the vast impact that his work has had on multiple generations. The characters all lived in a shared universe that mirrors our own, with most heroes residing in Lee's home of New York City. "For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy".

Roy's manager, John Cimino, tells us Roy and Stan talked for about 30 minutes and, surprise. they discussed comics and superheroes. In 1971, Kirby even created a comic character based on Lee called the Funky Flashman who was a money-hungry man that took advantage of others and tricked people into thinking he was making creative contributions.

"So touched by all of the celebrities posting pictures of themselves with Stan Lee... no better way to commemorate an absolute legend than putting up a picture of yourself", he wrote.

Amazon Makes It Official: Selects New York City, Arlington For New Headquarters
That's on top of the jobs that will be created by building the two headquarters (which Amazon says will cost $US5 billion). While the NY deal is worth more for Amazon, it also comes with more requirements than the Virginia agreement.

Avengers 4 co-director Joe Russo confirmed in an interview with the BBC (via ComicBook.com) that Stan Lee had filmed his cameo for the film, saying, "So, we try to get him out for his cameos around the same time".

Celebrities who worked with Lee, as well as those who admired him, have expressed their gratitude and condolences through social media.

Disney boss Bob Iger released a statement as part of a tribute on the official Marvel website. "The scale of his imagination was only exceeded by the size of his heart".
