Texas sneaks into top 15 in latest College Football Playoff rankings

The Irish remain behind both Alabama and Clemson - the top two teams for the third-straight week - with MI rounding out the top four now in the playoff if the season ended today. Notre Dame is coming off an easy 42-13 win over Florida State last Saturday and the Irish have yet to lose a game this season.

Alabama is No. 1 for the 15th time in 28 rankings. Along with Notre Dame, Alabama (1), Clemson (2), and MI (4) are the schools that make up the current bracket for this season's College Football Playoff. This week's rankings mark the first time in the history of the College Football Rankings that the top 10 remained the same in back-to-back weeks.

Clemson has two wins over teams now ranked in the top 25 in No. 12 Syracuse and No. 20 Boston College. Clemson - 10-0 3. As of Tuesday, Las Vegas oddsmakers have Notre Dame favored by 9.5 points over Syracuse in this weekend's matchup. "And you start off by saying they're 9-1, and their only loss is to a Texas team at a neutral site in a very close game". Oklahoma - 9-1 7.
