- Rafael Shimunov (@rafaelshimunov) November 8, 2018Correction: the white house --uploaded a doctored video-- there is no evidence that they are the source of the doctored video.

"The fact that the White House press secretary is promoting this doctored video is reprehensible, and grounds for dismissal". You can nearly feel the republic devolving to its lowest common denominator: narcissists preening before the cameras and beating their chests in self-righteous fury.

Mr Acosta, CNN's chief White House correspondent, said he was informed by Secret Service officers that he could not enter for his scheduled 8pm broadcast.

The White House yanked Acosta's press credentials after his controversial conduct during the fiery briefing with Trump on Wednesday.

In between his calls for "respect", Trump called Acosta "unprofessional" and disparaged the reporter's intelligence.

A video distributed by the Trump administration to support its argument for banning CNN reporter Jim Acosta from the White House appears to have been doctored to make Acosta look more aggressive than he was during an exchange with a White House intern, an independent expert said Thursday. "It's a group of migrants moving up from Central America towards the border with the U.S.", Acosta said on Wednesday, pushing his own personal opinion and not exactly asking a "question" of the president. And I think this also might be the first time I've seen Sarah Sanders take the woman's side on any subject ever, so good for her.

In response to Sanders' statement about why his pass had been revoked, Acosta tweeted simply, "This is a lie". "A very special place", Trump said.

The White House originally claimed that Acosta placed his hands on an intern who tried to take a microphone from him.

And CNN has slammed the White House for its actions.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg released from hospital after fall
Upon hearing of Ginsburg's injuries, anxious liberals took to Twitter to volunteer their own ribs to help with her recovery. On the morning of Friday, Nov. 9, the justice was released from the hospital, where she was admitted on Thursday, Nov. 8.

Acosta had been holding the microphone, trying to ask a follow-up question, while the president was calling on a different reporter.

CNN released its own statement about reporter, Phillip stating that she did not "ask a "stupid" question today at the White House". "Journalists should not give more fuel to such accusations". She said on the network that the three presidents she covered prior to Trump may not have liked every question she asked, but understood why she did so.

Acosta, meanwhile, is in Paris, where Trump will be landing later on Friday.

"Honestly, I think you should let me run the country".

It's a dead-giveaway: each man is playing to his audience. "He gets paid to do that", Trump said.

The president also said, "CNN should be ashamed of itself [for] having you working for them".

The US president has also attacked the media for being "enemies of the people". They love nothing better than seeing him combat what they perceive to be sneering media elites.

For its part, CNN probably got the views it was looking for thanks to this incident. Her work has been featured on Fox News, the Drudge Report, HotAir.com, RealClearDefense, RealClearPolitics, and elsewhere.
