The new track is flawless if you've had "thank u, next" absolutely lodged in your head for the past few weeks and feel like a slight change in lyrics, just to shake things up a bit.

In a segment for The Late Late Show with James Corden, the host takes on the smash hit.

Everyone welcome to the stage: James Corden's Thank u, Jeff.

This must have been James Corden's thought process when him and his writing team penned their reimagining of Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next".

Italian nightclub stampede leaves six dead, dozens injured
Around 1,000 people had entered the club to watch Sera Ebbasta perform at the club, situated on the central Adriatic coast. It wasn't immediately clear how many people were inside when the stampede erupted or the club's maximum capacity.

Corden taps into the internet's obsession with Jeff Goldblum that's been steadily increasing over the last few years with lyrics that fawn over Goldblum's alluring good looks. "But who could forget the hot doctor that he played in 'Jurassic"?" There was also a healthy amount of simple flattery, "he's our silver fox with black thick-rimmed glasses".

Ariana was quick to praise the video, tweeting: "Omg.... may I please.... please for Christmas have the thank u, Jeff book?" James later exclaims, "I'm so frickin' grateful for his pecks".

Goldblum could not believe that Corden got out his way to make a song about him, and even asked about the book.

But on Wednesday night James Corden tried recreating a music video instead - with equally hilarious results.
