Nintendo has taken to Twitter to confirm a new Nintendo Direct scheduled for February 13.

Nintendo has just announced a brand-new Nintendo Direct for tomorrow which will, among other things, feature new details about the upcoming new Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Finally, Nintendo will also be streaming the Direct on its website, and while it's only embedded the YouTube stream, you can head over there if you want to get the full Nintendo effect. Ultimate Spring update Fire Emblem: Three Houses Astral Chain Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker co-op and DLC Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Tetris 99 Final Fantasy 9 Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY!

We're less than an hour away from tonight's Nintendo Direct, and things are starting to get exciting.

The brief description that came alongside the Nintendo Direct offered a few hints as to what people can expect.

NASA's faraway space snowman has flat, not round, behind
The latest image sequence from NASA's New Horizons spacecraft offers a new perspective on Kuiper Belt object Ultima Thule . The new images, taken when New Horizons was almost 9,000km from Ultima Thule , will give Moore's team plenty to chew over.

Of course, a lonesome addition of slopes wouldn't be enough to slap a number 2 on the title, Nintendo also made it clear that there is much more content packed into this sequel.

One game we can safely assume won't be featured during today's presentation, however, is Metroid Prime 4.

Sorry though, 3DS owners, because this Direct is wholly focused on the Switch. Last month, Nintendo announced that it was effectively restarting development on the game-this time with original developer Retro Studios at the helm-as it wasn't coming together to the company's liking.
