Usher and Rich the Kid targeted in West Hollywood armed robbery

Rapper Rich the Kid and his entourage were attacked on Tuesday afternoon in a famous West Hollywood studio, where Usher was also recording in at the time.

A member of the ATL native's crew was pistol whipped and mostly all of the men were individually taken for their jewelry and money.

Rich was outside when it went down, and it appears he was the target of the robbery.

The gunman, who has not been identified, opened fire as he ran away from the studio. Usher was inside the studio and not hurt while Rich was outside when it all happened.

Police have responded to the scene and are actively looking for the supects who made off with a large sum of cash and jewelry.

He also said the country's planned exit from the European Union on March 29 had brought the United Kingdom its "greatest opportunity" to strengthen its global presence.

Los Angeles County Sheriff deputies were at the scene searching for suspects and examining evidence.

As TMZ points out, Rich had posted a photo holding a wad of cash earlier in the day.

Rich the Kid, a Queens-born rapper, dropped his debut album The World Is Yours previous year.

Thankfully, it is being reported that nobody was hit by the bullets which means that they are generally unharmed. "For motivational purposes only", he captioned it.

Westlake Recording Studio has attracted major names from the music industry for decades, including Madonna, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Michael Jackson.
