According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Tate's deal is for four years and is worth a total of $37.5 million with 23 million of the amount being fully guaranteed.

Looking to fill a vacancy following the blockbuster trade involving Odell Beckham Jr., the New York Giants are set to bring in veteran wide receiver Golden Tate.

In his years with the Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions and Eagles, he rolled up 611 catches for 7,214 yards and 38 touchdowns.

Let's be 100 percent real here, the Giants should be in full-on tank mode after trading Beckham.

The Giants secured the 30-year-old's services one day after they officially traded Beckham to the Cleveland Browns. Although his short stint in Philadelphia was a disappointment, Tate has routinely been one of fantasy's most dependable wide receivers, and especially so in contrast to a typically much lower ADP.

Tate is a fine receiver as a third option. He should help the Giants win slightly more games than they would've won without him, but he's not going to transform them into a surprise playoff team. He can still make a name for himself in the NFL.

The Giants did not want to give $11.1 million to Collins on the franchise tag and he got $15 million per year for three years from the Redskins.
