Ismaila Sarr featured for Rennes's 3-1 win over Arsenal in the Europa League a couple of weeks ago and reports have it that the Gunners made contact with the player immediately after that game.

But they put in a commanding performance as they won 3-0.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang said wearing a Black Panther mask after scoring a Europa League goal for Arsenal was a tribute to Gabon.

Aubameyang kept Ramsey's pass in play, but the Gabonese striker looked to be stood in an offside position before picking out Maitland-Niles at the back post.

That goal proved pivotal as Arsenal went through to the last eight.

Rennes defender Damien de Silva admits the players were floored after last night's defeat at Arsenal.

This Pi Day Comes With a World Record
Emma Haruka Iwao spent four months working on the project in which she calculated pi to 31.4 trillion digits. Even with Google's infrastructure on her side, determining trillions of digits was no simple task.

"This comeback was very hard, but I think the reaction was very good from every player", Emery told reporters. At the beginning of the match, we lost too many balls, due to their pressing, we had tension, we were not at home.

"Playing under pressure is good, growing up under pressure - with each player playing like a team and feeling the hard moments to give us our best performance", Emery said.

Unai Emery has retained nine of the eleven players that featured during Arsenal's Premier League win over Manchester United.

Arsenal have missed out on Champions League football for the last two seasons, and their poor away record remains a big concerns.

"We can be proud of our supporters and players today because it has been a very hard week", he said, per Sky Sports.

"For us, today and Sunday, we are aware of playing competitively and I think it is good confidence for us to feel that".
