Cesar Azpilicueta sends warning to Liverpool FC about Chelsea FC repeat

"It's not about frustrating Liverpool, it's about playing our game".

"I spoke to Eden when we were with the national team and he spoke about that (2014) game, not so much about his form and the way he played, but he said Chelsea at Anfield have always done well", added the goalkeeper.

Just two weeks short of the fifth anniversary of the game the two sides meet on Sunday with similar title aspirations on the line for the Anfield club and suddenly that game, half a decade ago, is back in the spotlight.

Spurs are dreaming of a place in the Champions League semi-finals after defeating Manchester City 1-0 in the first leg.

Leaders Liverpool are now 16 points clear of Chelsea as they go toe-to-toe with Manchester City at the top, but will be wary of the 16-goal Hazard who also boasts a league-high 12 assists this term. I'm not a Man City supporter or happy that they won the league.

Lightning star Nikita Kucherov suspended one game
Now they have the Tampa Bay on the ropes and are enticingly closer to winning the first playoff series in franchise history. In other words, there's a lot of hockey left to the play in the series, and the Blue Jackets players know it all too well.

You don't need reminding about how that one went.

Ba was not a regular for Jose Mourinho's side that season, but nor were numerous players who started the game at Anfield.

Their FA Cup wins against Swansea and Brighton were unconvincing, they struggled in their home match against Cardiff last week and Liverpool can take encouragement from City's slowdown as injuries and their hectic fixture schedule catches up with them. But it will be up to the likes of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane to break down Chelsea's backline and secure a massive three points to stay alive for the title.

The second change for Liverpool also comes in defence, with Joel Matip returning to the starting XI, after not featuring against Porto in the midweek.

"So we went out like this, but he still expected us to win".
