From the B Main (a dirt-track racer's nomenclature for the Open), we had a little bit of damage, had to fix the vehicle. "I guess dating back to the Bristol spring race previous year".

"Then, he body slammed me". "These last few weeks have gone pretty smooth for us".

"But, man, this is unbelievable", Larson continued. "I came close to winning a couple of years ago".

"There are a lot of people from the shop here today, so we get to do some celebrating".

Harvick was second, Busch was third and Logano was fourth.

"A letdown", was the way Harvick described his evening.

LARSON FLIP: NASCAR said it won't recommend any changes after an extensive review of Larson's frightening, barrel-roll crash at Talladega last month.

"We certainly think we're in a good place with them, but we'll certainly have to monitor it moving forward with those two", he added.

"It was a great night for performance; just a bad night on pit road".

Bowyer started from the pole and finished in 12th place on Saturday. Aric Almirola, Austin Dillon, Alex Bowman, William Byron and Martin Truex Jr. completed the top 10.

Replays showed Newman getting into the back of Bowyer's vehicle on the cool-down lap, sending Bowyer's Ford into the outside wall.

Trump says he didn’t need to borrow from banks
McFadden was sacked by the bank in 2018 after she persisted with her concerns over the bank's deviation from best practices. McHugh also refuted the allegation that "any employee was sacked to quash concerns relating to any client".

FOX Sports' replay showed on the cool-down lap at the end of the race, Bowyer was driving just ahead Newman, who turned the No. 14 Ford into the outside of the track.

After Newman got out of his auto, the two drivers had a heated conversation before Newman walked away. "I think he should be embarrassed of himself", Newman said. After the race, I just went up and tapped him on the back, let him know I didn't appreciate the way he raced me. I hit him back a little bit down the back straight-away. "It doesn't take much of a man to try to fight someone with a helmet on".

An obviously angry Bowyer was eventually separated from Newman by both teams' crew members, as well as NASCAR officials.

Newman laughed off his rival's actions, mocking him for throwing punches at someone in a racing helmet. "I thought he was a lap down".

"After the race, he comes up and runs into my back, turns me all around". I pull up next to him and he dumps me in four. Where I come from you get poked in the nose for that, and that's what he got'.

Both drivers were called for a meeting in the NASCAR hauler after the sequence of events.

But it wasn't. Somehow, as if by divine intervention, Wallace got another opportunity in the second stage when Daniel Hemric and Ryan Preece crashed racing for third with two laps left.

The stage win was a welcome change for Wallace, who has suffered through a hard season in the No. 43 Richard Petty Motorsports Chevrolet.

"It was a damn sure surprise fight", Bowyer said.

"I didn't really have many plans (to spend the money)", Larson told FS1 after his run. "We'll see what we can get tonight".

"When you get so close so many times, it's so easy to get down on yourself, and unfortunately, we've been here before with a slump", Larson explained, one of only two drivers who ran all seven stages on the night, having to win the Open to race his way into the main event.
