It's another web woven into the fabric of a complex team facing unique circumstances on and off the field following a 3-13 season.

Arizona ushers in first-year head coach Kliff Kingsbury, a criticized hire, with rookie quarterback Kyler Murray. The drafting of Murray pushed out former franchise face Josh Rosen after he struggled during his rookie season. "But the eight-time Pro Bowl selection dropped his appeal and the suspension is expected to be officially handed down at some point in the next week, a source told ESPN".

For months, there has been speculation that Arizona cornerback Patrick Peterson has been unhappy with the Cardinals.

Peterson was the Cardinals' highest-graded player in 2018, according to Pro Football Focus. He has played in and started all 128 games of his eight-year career.

Finishing on top of the division for a third year in a row certainly won't be easy for a team like the Rams since the pressure will be higher than ever, and at least even if Peterson happens to suit up for those two December games, Los Angeles will most likely still find ways to win.

Then consider the competition.

Ubisoft's Pirate Game 'Skull and Bones' Has Been Pushed Into 2020
As far as the other three, triple-A games the company has in the works, it said these will be "revealed later". Originally set for an autumn 2018 release, Skull and Bones was pushed into the 2019/2020 fiscal year .

Peterson will miss games against the Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals and Atlanta Falcons.

"That's why this is very very hard for me, because, obviously, I've never been in this situation before and never wanted to have my name attached to anything like this", Peterson said.

Peterson is a huge part of the Cardinals' defense, and will be missed immensely during his absence.

The eight-time Pro Bowler will be eligible to return October 20 against the New York Giants. Standard NFL protocol usually calls for a four-game suspension for first-time offenders, which Peterson is.

Peterson can participate in all offseason workouts and preseason games.
