Restaurant Brands plans to grow to more than 40K restaurants

According to the company, the global quick service restaurant (QSR) market is expected to grow 5-6% per year for the next five years.

Concerns on the part of investors regarding the company's China push are valid though.

If the test market confirms a demand for vegan options at Tim Hortons, the company plans to launch a national rollout by the end of summer.
